The Article studies the approach to protection of the on-line information stored in the database accessible by users in the Intranet network isolated from Internet. It analyzes three security levels of the on-line information taking into account the model of internal hacker, information security capabilities of the database management system (DBMS) MySQL, qualification of the IT-specialists and on-line information structuring. The risks and expenses analysis performed gives approach to database arrangement in Intranet with the appropriate level of the information security.
